Hi all,
Finally got out with my new camera. This is a photo of a greenfinch I took at the feeding station on the edge of the birdbath. I'm really happy with the sharpness in the photos I've taken with the new camera.

You chose a difficult subject indeed Sam. Greenfinch's feathers are very tightly knit, but lots of feather detail in this upload

You have some great images in your portfolio. I can't get over the fact that have captured them using a compact camera so I'm looking forward to see what you can produce with the DSLR.
