This is a photo taken during a mighty Mini race at castle Coombe this Monday. I was trying to experiment with different approaches so this is a slow shutter speed shot 1/60 where I tried to time the photo to when the lead car was at the apex so it was fairly sharp but cars entering the corner would have motion blur.
I was trying to capture some of the movement and drama. Lens @ 300mm on Monopod IS off. Shutter priority, f11 @ ISO 100
Oh and the driver did collect it without a prang but he did loose the place at the next corner. The lens and viewing angle did compress the view. Nice bit of opposite lock ![]()
