A photo taken just before sunrise at Porlock Weir. I used a 3 stop ND grad to darken the sky and a 2 second exposure @ F22 to slow the gentle waves down

excellent pic, love the colour in the sky.
Lovely image, although the horizon runs down to the right a little.
Phil, I think you have a point there, I fooled myself into thinking it was OK by the rays of light. A DoH moment.
Lovely scene, nice tones and good use of exposure to silken (is that a word??) the water. Horizon as well as being slanted is a bit central, but otherwise nice enough shot.
Super shot, never been there this early
Lovely lighting. The dark shapes on the left give the image quite a spooky feel.
Thanks for that. as for early, once a year I go for a photo trip with friends and we always get up at sunrise, it adds to the trip stomping about on a beach at 5am
A beautiful shot,love the colours,,great timing,,
Have you noticed that the centre of the 3 posts looks like the silhouette of a bag pipe player,,
Looked at your site after your comments to me re; Digigood and glad to see this pic of North Somerset coast line. I lived on the Quantock Hills for eighteen years with carpentry & building as my trade. I worked all around this area and have very fond memories of this coast line and Exmoor so really nice to see. Thanks Bruce
