OK my attempt at an EPZ rights of passage, yes I went to Gigrin last month, though the weather could have been better, 1/800 f5.6 ISO1600. Certainly a more interesting sky might have helped.

Super shot, the look of the bird and the sharpness of your shot, super, yes a dramatic sky would have helped, but bird/wildlife photography is just about the toughest to get right. Well done.

a great sharp shot did you use f4 for this shot, i like the dof with this shot it's really good.
you have got what is necessarie to get sharp and that's the eyes and head then the body.
