All our times have come
Here but now they're gone
Seasons don't fear the barber
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain
We can be like they are
Come on baby... Don't fear the barber
Baby take my hand... Don't fear the barber
We'll be able to fly... Don't fear the barber
Baby I'm your man...
Anyone regularly looking in is maybe thinking "thank f___ it's not another f_____ rodeo shot".

Here he is, Lance again in all his hairy glory.
Make it a great day.

He's back and better than ever! Wonderful pov, superior detail.

Fabulous shot, works so well in mono. Love the angle too. Angi
OK I give up, where's the steer...??
Great fun and excellent. Love the angles, and the details of suburban 'normality' in the background. I suspect that it's the barber who should be afraid.
Moira
very good. too bad though about all the clutter in the fg which partially blocks your subject. Couldn't you have moved the bike out of the way or gone a bit more to the left or right yourself ? Hope you'll get another chance to photograph him, but please bear these things in mind next time.
Perhaps you could also ask him to take off his sunglasses. Remember, the eyes are the most important part in a portrait !!!
Anyway, feel free to contact me anytime for more advice, but if you think my advice was useful, you can mark it as such. Thank you beforehand. We all have to learn from someone sometime. You can also visit my portfolio if you need inspiration.
cheeky koen!
although..
must agree a bit with the clutter on the foreground as it does seem to distract from the person in the image. but like with the previous portrait of this man I think it is a stunning image with unique processing. Hope Pete is not again on a holiday.

Thank you kind Peeps.
I'm not sure we have the calibre of barber that could take on a project of such industrial proportions around these here parts.......
Moira - this would be more rural than suburban, and possibly more redneck than rural..........
Koen - many thanks for your kind offer. I was thinking that I may write the "rules of photography" on a small piece of paper and tape them to the back of my camera. Would this help me? I will certainly get another chance to photograph him, so perhaps next time I'll take a mottled blue or brown background and shoot him against that. I may even ask him to get dressed up a little......
Any and all pointers very gratefully received. ![]()
And yes, your portfolio is inspiring.........
Top Notch Shot Nev. Does he still ride it? Lance looks amazing in this image & I laove the clarity in the chrome. Graet treatment as always & forget about rules, they are only there to break!! Sylv.
