Hi all, another view of this youngster but without the food this time. I have lifted some of the darker areas (which are trees) in the BG but not so much that the image looks un natural.
Many thanks for taking time out to view and comment on my Singing Wren and a special thank you to Pete for the HC and Anne (atworner) for the UA, really appreciated
Regards,
Geoff.

don't thank us yet, more remarks to come!
yes it is such a handsome fellow and I can hear him sing out loud.
Oh I must be following in Ronnies footsteps
just saw Ades...creepy crawlie too
and this is so wonderful after that experience (sorry Ade)
Geoff as always so perfectly captured and what a B/G matches so well
BTW
You have a special knack of making these birds of yours ''leap out''
from the screen
Lillian
Stunning shot the detail and sharpness are amazing geoff spot on
mike
stunning shot Geoff.great colour and detail,well done..Lin
Thanks everyone and a special thank you to Paul (stretch1230) for the UA, really appreciated,
Geoff.
A fantastic image Geoff
Nice pose and sharp detail showing the bird off well.
One very minor criticism is the blurring of the background has distorted the edges of the leaves, which should be in focus, just takes the edge off a super image. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks Derek, the leaves at the front and back were not as close to the bird as it would seem if I remember correctly. The only thing I did here was to lift some dark lines on the LH side of the bird with the clone tool, I can only put it down to dof or some movement of the branch when the bird landed, the shutter speed was only 1/200 sec.
Many thanks for your comment mate, your views and anyone else for that matter are always valued,
Regards,
Geoff.
A top shot Geoff, this handsome young chap is posing beautifully for you
Absolutely brilliant! Not only the bird well captured, but also amazing detail in the shrub he's sitting on, and superb dof - great spotless bg.
