I've been off on one. I'm still off on one, I think.
I haven't written anything for several weeks because I got fed up with being told that I couldn't form questions in blogs. I started to become paranoid about whether or not I had included a ? mark in what I'd written.
I don't know whether blogs [generally] are monitored.
I don't know whether it is my blogs which are monitored.
If my blogs are being monitored, maybe it means that I have a black mark against my name. Aaaaaagh !!
It may be that there is a 'system-programmed mechanism' to identify ? marks in a blog, and issue an auto warning that ''questions are not permitted in blogs and must be asked in the forums.''
I have no intention of asking why questions are not permitted in blogs, as a forum thread.
It seems that such a course of action will merely result in a possible acrimonious outcome, and quite honestly I have had enough of reading forum threads where people are bitching at one another.
Whether I renew my e2 subscription on 7th April remains to be seen - at the moment I am undecided.
Whether I continue to peruse the forums also remains to be seen. I do get fed up of some of the cattiness that takes place between apparent grown-ups on there.
I do enjoy viewing the photo main gallery, and learn much from doing so.
The critique gallery I mostly keep well clear of these days. It just is not worth the risk.
It seems to me a great pity that I am not allowed to form a question in the course of the admittedly sometimes inane ramblings, within my Blogs - particularly when there is neither a hidden agenda nor intent to denegrate or offend - but so be it.
I think I will probably stay 'off-on-one' for the time being, until I get it out of my system.
Stand on the sidelines and watch the action.
Keep my mouth shut and my thoughts to myself.
I joined ePz because I enjoyed my photography (puerile as it was) and I enjoyed the site.
Until that returns, I shall keep my questions, ambiguous or otherwise, to myself.
I still enjoy my photography [puerile as it remains] and that's the most important thing.
And guess what's just popped up on the Preview [I won't include a question mark]
