I heard this morning - I cannot comment on the veracity of the source - that the Gulf Stream is turning north onto it's original route and this present weather system will end shortly, possibly with heavy precipitation Grin but we may yet finish up with the weather that we are used to experiencing, in this country, at this time of the year.

Which all seemed slightly odd to me.
I thought that we are having the weather that we are used to experiencing, in this country, at this time of the year. WinkTongueSmile

Roll on Xmas is what I say Jack.
I will be able to keep my feet warm in this freezing weather with all these thick white wooly socks I get for presents.
Why do people think that when you reach 60,you will REALLY appreciate thick white wooly socks to keep your feet warm ?
Xmas ?
Bah Humbug !!
