I think it's a lych gate, but I am not sure. Which is why i didn't refer to it as such.
If I'm wrong and you do remember, can you notify us on here please?

I've just looked it up in the dictionary, and it is a lych gate.
"A roofed entrance gateway to a church, under which to shelter a coffin"
