Well taken and well done...

Thanks for your comment on Black bird.. I wanted that image but could not get it... Had a walk round and think then had one more go with flash and I got that image....
I think I need to take it at night time to give the background a more contrast and less burn out....

Unfortunately, it's a long way from being sharp, Dave.
I had an 18-200 lens on & I could have done better with a 300 - but didn't have it with me.
I could also have done with increasing the ISO to 1600 and the shutter to 1/500th.
That would have produced a decent image. This shot won't go up to ePZ Gallery. It would get ripped apart GrinGrinGrin Rightly so too.
It's good enough for reportage on my website - (some of the locals haven't seen a heron this close Grin)
