Weston Favel is now merely a residential suburb of Northampton.
However, less than a hundred years ago, it was a remote village - 'out-in-the-sticks' as it were, and not connected to Northampton at all. But the village does retain some of its rural characteristic. And one element of that, is the parish church of St Peter.
