Another from the trip to Tenerife

This was taken at Faro de Punta Teno its one of the seven lighthouses that mark the coast of Tenerife and built on the westernmost point of the island.

I think the frame adds to the comp rather than being a barrier. It's got lots of lovely interest in its shapes and textures. It's also clear what lies beyond and the path makes a great lead in. Positioning the lighthouse to one side allows it maximum visibility.

Can't add anything to what Al has already said, and he has verbalised exactly what I felt too about your image: nice bit of planning behind this one, and excellent detail at all levels from the f/22 aperture.
