Thank you very much photowanderer for that comment. Creative team will be delighted to hear that. By: studioline |
Thank you for the award Youngjedi75. By: studioline |
Thank you so much for the awards. I am trying to find meaning in my photography and hopefully I will continue to develop with time. Thanks again for all the votes. By: studioline |
Thanks guys. It's the subtle change of angulation in the body that makes it work for me. By: studioline |
You are bang on EyesFront with your observations...on all accounts. The male was put in as a stand in model and is indeed one of the photographers. I needed him just to ad a story to the image. Ironically as the shoot progressed, the better he got. I should have started shooting him 2 hours before the actual time! By: studioline |
Thank you very much Eddie. It is indeed shot in a studio. The light is from a large soft box to her left and powered by a Bowens Gemini 250, backlit by barndoors and a fill in flash to her right (Gemini Esprits 200. I hope that helps. By: studioline |
Yes I was Gil. Have you been there? By: studioline |
Thanks Polly. I have to admit it was a dalylight image and I added the moonlight in and cloud effect too. By: studioline |

Thanks all for the votes/ comments. i can assure you that it is the comments that make it all the more interesting. I think that having posted the last 4 images with objects in the background, it appears that most photographers feel that they should be removed and that is even with the necessity of the objects to identify the location. I see John that you work nearby, could you tell me if you get the concept of the lat 4 images. I am trying to show Leith as it is on a normal day against a fashion element. By: studioline |
modern lady like to drink bird's nest Love the model. Feel the composition could benefit from just being a little wider and also a little lighter on the right hand side of the image. I am sure a gradient could be applied. Skin tone are lovely. By: foochai |
I think both of you have a point in mentioning the distractions but I still think that this image is more intersting for the distractions however.....the client does not agree and sure enough the distractions have to be removed. By: studioline |
Setting Sun at Cramond Harbour I was aiming for a water colour dreamy kind of effect. Thanks for noticing. By: studioline |
It is a her Paul. Lol. I am glad you like it. By: studioline |
I am loving everyything about this image but feel that the colours and vibrncy have been let down by a lack of directional light. You still get my vote as the image appeals to me. By: CraigWalker |
I tried making it look as if she was lying face up on a road - double yellow lines. May post that up. By: studioline |
that is an incredible photograph. Could you tell me at what focal length and speed you were shooting at? I have tried this shot many times and never managed to get as good a result as this. By: trev4 |
Thank you very much Monkeytravels. i have been noting I often seem to be ploughing my own field. Lol. By: studioline |

Cheers Rapido for pointing that out. I will remove it before it goes to print. By: studioline |
You are very correct Indrasish. There is a large soft box to the models left but it did not add to the image but took away from it. By: studioline |
