I love the texture and look to this photograph. To me it represent old and weathered against the contrasting feminity and softness of the model.
In my mind there is an air of uncertainty to the photograph which I hope viewers like.

Yes... there is something strangely compelling about this. At first glance it looks like the white balance is all wrong, but the weird green cast really complements the atmosphere. The sharpness of the textures against the doleful, but defocused background make it seem somehow other-wordly. I suppose the youthfulness of the girl further adds an element of vulnerability and isolation.

I like it a lot.
