I was moved by her expressions and the way she was holding the rosary.

Its a decent shot, but the image size is quite small. I think the only change I can think of is to apply a little more contrast, - re size as in the mod.
Ideally her head is a little high in the frame, but thats something that has to be addressed in shooting and not post processing with this one as you would lose a lot of her arm if cropped.
Im dont believe thats a Rosary though, - looks like some other sort of prayer beads.
regards
Willie
Thanks Mr Willie. This is a shot which I got as a matter of chance. I never asked this lady to pose for me. I saw her sitting outside her house, but I was in a hurry. Therefore, I tried to grab this shot.
A awesome image Sapru ji. I have processed and modified it according to my style by darkening the surrounding areas so as to make the face and hands more prominent. Deep
Ive read Sues comments, and I agree the face is too bright, so another mod added. I cropped to place her correctly in the frame. The quality is not great as the file size is small.
The original shutter speed was way too slow for the focal length, which likely explains the lack of sharpness.
Thanks Sue,
regards
Willie
Willie's Mod2 is outstanding which has changed the character of the picture altogether and now looks like a masterpiece. He has lowered the head to an appropriate place very intelligently which was looking impossible to me.So much to learn here. Deep
The basis of a fine image but it lacks impact. Willies second mod goes a long way to sorting this out - it is too light - but the act of modifying such a small image has destroyed the quality. There are indications of a slight lack of crispness in the original. Well composed/cropped.

Thanks friends, all of you have taken a lot of interest in further improving this image. But I find a lot to learn here.
Yes, the original was shot in colour.
