This is where we spent Saturday night - camping on the shores of Loch Coruisk in the Cuillin mountains on Skye and for once it wasn't raining. Smile These are the mountains you see in the classic Cuillins from Elgol shots that are so popular on EPZ.

The location was amazing, but we still had problems finding a dry spot to pitch the tent as the ground around the loch was very boggy. However, eating breakfast on our own private beach while looking out on this view made the nine-mile walk out over the mountains and the boggy conditions all around us more than worthwhile. V2 is our little home from home Smile

Many thanks for your votes and comments on my last upload. They really are much appreciated.

That little beach is rather popular for camping.. saw tents there last time I was there. What a great place to wake though! Smile

Thanks Jeanie. I know it's a popular tourist trip by boat from Elgol so I'm sure there are a lot of tents there at times, particularly when the weather's drier. That's the good thing about doing it before the tourist season starts in earnest, that and missing the midgies Smile And, of course, arriving by boat saves the long walk out from the Sligachan Hotel carrying all the camping gear.

I don't recall ever seeing the Cuillin range from this locus, Sue: you were well out in the wilderness there.
Ronnie.

I like the inclusion of V2 Sue, it kind of sets the scene and makes the main picture even more interesting as a location.

Wow, I can just imagine waking up on a morning, stepping outside the tent and being greeted by scenes like these! Stunning stuff, Sue Wink
