Looks a bit like a wild orchid I have on file, but somebody will no doubt know for sure.
Congratulations on your 1000th image on EPZ.wonder how many winners you have hadsince your first upload.Anyway this is lovely.

Many congrats. on reaching 1000 uploads, David: and how nicely it looms out of the black b/g, all the more effective without being constrained by a frame.
I though at first it might be a wild orchid but I now have my doubts, like Kate, but I guess there are others who will ID it for you.
