I think a lot of new growth is in for a shock, Sue, doesn't look like Spring has finally sprung in your part of the UK. Well captured. Carol

I think this is very clever the way you made use of the back light to emphasize the detail in your subject ...John

A beautifully crisp and fresh composition, the backlighting adding to the charm and emphasising the frozen detail beautifully Sue.

Like the backlighting. March has never struck me as being Spring in this neck of the woods so far from surprised at the weather! Last year's warm weather did plants no favours as it was followed by bitterly cold gale-force winds which burnt off so much new growth, so at least I am thinking this year there's a chance of a far better dispaly come proper Spring!

Mother nature says the same thing here, Sue. It was 20 C yesterday, 7 C today.

HAd to think a while about what this reminded me of, Sue...then it came to me as I was sat, well, 'somewhere' reading the paper.Smile The Prince of Wales feathers, from his insignia.
Hope you are not snowed in down there!
