I was at Berwick-upon-Tweed with my husband and was totally blown away with the views from the city walls. As, apparently, was Lowry. Wherever I looked I found amazing views, and great paths. My husband thinks there is too much path and too much green in this picture. I've tried mono and I'm not sure about that. The path was part of what I liked about the shot, but then the buildings and chimneys were too.... Maybe I've just not been selective enough? Anyhow, all comments will be very welcome! By the way, it's a subtle 3 shot (1 stop each way) hdr, using Nik software - I don't think it's too in your face? Sue

This simple image really stands out. It's so well processed without being overdone. You've composed the buildings very nicely, in steps. Lowry for sure, and I don't mind the foreground as it puts everything into context. I really like this a lot.

As above . . . but . . . to really pay homage to Lowry you really should have had Martin in shot as a matchstick man (maybe even a crowd of Martin's by taking multi-frames!!!) ![]()
