I know all about lonely places Sue.
The pub is very lonely after I have bought a big round of drinks, and then suddenly everyone has to go home !!
I go home to be consoled in the arms of my lovely wife, only to find out she has locked me out as I am two hours late coming home !!
I cannot stay with my next door neighbour either,as her husband has called in sick from working nightshift due to the flu !!
There is nothing left to do,but to wander the cold dangerous streets all through the night !!
If I am lucky,I will be arrested for loitering with intent, and spend the night in a warm cosy police cell !!
A lonely place ?
Go tell that one to the birds !!
Mick.

Like the processing very much. I guess all things are relvant and clearly that high-flying bird finds the place perfect rather than "lonely"!

THAT'S what this shot reminded me of! Thanks Adrian! This fantastic image would make an excellent cover for a Sherlock Holmes book! Well worked Sue!

Lonely and bleak. Wonder if that bird found any dinner here Wink. Very nice piece of processing Sue. Moira

Fitting title. Great composition and detail. I wish I knew how to process like that. Great work.

a fine composition and that cobwebby texture goes really well with it!

5 stars for getting the truth out of Mick, and perhaps the bird would have eaten him, except the smell of the pub put it off. And 10 stars for the image. It would make a brilliant book cover....!

I'm the odd one out again Sue. I think that choive of texture is a bit distracting but I love the whole thing minus those scratches. Maybe I am not reading enough into the image.

It certainly does look a lonely place, Sue, and your excellent processing really enhances the bleakness of it Wink

So desolate looking, but what a fantastic job you did with it, Sue. The texturing is unusual and really works.

Oooo...missed this beauty !!.....cracking shot !, love the dark 'foreboding' atmosphere, & the textured layer
adds an extra 'flavour' to the scene......top notch stuff !!
