just a little p.s. just had a thought, your gonna think I'm a picky wot not, but if you get a min, try desaturating just the little bits of green in between the red leaves/bracken ... what do you reckon?

would have used f/8-13 his eyes in focus but you have lost some of the fur detail, maybe position the light differently

Manual Ronnya superb shot of your handsome dog. It is exposed good in my eyes hard with black n white animals and a black backdrop

I tend to use manual when I take images of the cats, and to get the eyes and nose sharp (always focus on the eye lids, where possible) try to use nothing less than f8 probably f/13 depending on how close you are- the close up of Ted under the red towel was f/13 250 shutter speed and a light. Not that I am an expert but thats what I use if I can
