just a little p.s. just had a thought, your gonna think I'm a picky wot not, but if you get a min, try desaturating just the little bits of green in between the red leaves/bracken ... what do you reckon?

a superb shot of your handsome dog. It is exposed good in my eyes hard with black n white animals and a black backdropI tend to use manual when I take images of the cats, and to get the eyes and nose sharp (always focus on the eye lids, where possible) try to use nothing less than f8 probably f/13 depending on how close you are- the close up of Ted under the red towel was f/13 250 shutter speed and a light. Not that I am an expert but thats what I use if I can
