Taken near De Rust, Western Cape. These are images from my series, People of The Klein Karoo, I will soon be doing new ones from the Eastern Cape, just waiting for my sister to send me photoshop as my laptop was stolen last year!

Children who are not trained from birth to grin for the camera, I suspect.
I agree with DaveU about the top of the frame. But I do like the space for the shadow bottom left, and the scrap of something or other left on the ground - it balances the image for me.
