Evening all, here is another of my daughter in the Hijab, trying to capture a feel for the garb. What I like about this shot was here eyes, reminded me of the movie "The Eyes of Laura Mars". Let me know which you all like, the color or the black and white. Thank you

Greg

I agree with jeanmarie both good but b/w the better.

You have captured the spirit of her with the eyes.

Namaste.
Richie.

Both are good Greg & I'm usually a colour kinda girl...but...on this occassion I am finding myself drawn to the B&W version.

Both versions are excellent. I'm torn between which I prefer. My initial reaction was in favour of the colour, but the mono is growing on me.

A beautiful portrait Greg, both of these have their merits so I'm going to sit on the fence and get splinters in my butt!

Hi Greg a superb portrait shot. I notice from a number of your shots that the model is lower than the lens and looking up as oposed to directly at the lens. Is there any particular reason for this or is it personal preference?

looks as if the portrait has been over manipulated and unreal, for me there is no feeling or atmosphere left due to over manipulation, sorry but perhaps if you had left the portrait natural i might have loved it.

Nice but is it a tad over worked i think.
Very little experience and most of my portraits are candid.
Hmmm,,
