The experiment worked. I am amazed at the sharpness you have achieved here with the stacking of the multipliers. I have tried something similar with my 100x400 with the 1.4 and 2x and just ended up with a blurred mess. Love the pose and the tones as well.

Great picture, fantastic detail. Nice to see effective use of ISO-800 and not a hint of the noise that everyone seems to think is so prevalent in the D70.
