I'm interested to know which sharpening method you use, just out of curiosity as I am playing around with the high-pass method, but can't decide.

Love the pose on this.

Cheryl - PSCS2, smart sharpen or USM, between 0.5 to 1 px, 50-100%. The basic stuffs, really. I'd like to try the high-pass method but not sure how. Have read about it in the techniques section but you know it's hard to teach old dog new tricks. Thanks for dropping by.

Thanks to everyone as well.

Hmm, interesting. Have gone back to USM on todays upload. I think it is sharper than the high pass. Perhaps I'm not using the right settings on the HP method. Need to experiment some more. Thanks

A joy to look at, Su. Fabulous detail, inspired angle - I love the way you've composed this so that its body follows the diagonal from top-right to bottom-left perfectly. Exquisite.

Simply another amazing shot from you. The details are incredible on this one. I guess you are able to get more DOF because the background will always be featureless.
