The very last of our club agility displays for this year took place at the weekend, no more til spring :-(
This is Mia she is very very fast, I have trouble photographing her because of her colouring I find it really difficult to keep details in both the light and dark side of her face. If anyone has any tips on how to make this easier please let me know!
This venue was somewhat unusual as normally agility is performed on grass, the dogs didn't seem to have a problem running on the sand/rubber mix but some of the handlers found it hard going!

Lovely animal action shot Carol

Bold black, & white images are always a delicate balance. For myself usually wait for the sun to illuminate the subject in the right direction ! Then I underexpose it a tad, it also brings out the details in dark eyes very well too, but remember to use adaptive lighting in post editing to level it of a bit . This shot is very good, & if you wanted even more detail lay of the contrast a bit.

Nice one .. Phil

This is a great shot, nice colours and the dog just looks like it is out for a Sunday stroll. I cropped the image as the sides really didn't add to the image and left enough space so the dog looks like it has somewhere to run into. Also the cone behind it was a bit of a lamp shade so I removed it. I blurred the fence to enhance the dog and hurdles a bit more and brought up the reds and yellows to make the subject stand out further. I hope you like it..
