I can analyse this photo and see how it all works well together to produce a powerful shot. The skin colour of the man matches the back wall. The colours of his loin cloth are reflected in the wall he is leaning against. It all fits together well. But its real power is in the simplicity and the emotional response it evokes in the viewer. The character of the old man comes across well.

Always interesting subjects. They always create a good narrative.

My only advice would be the crop, and to take a little from the left (as in my mod) and perhaps consider a black and white version (my second mod).

Is it just me, or are the hands and feet sharp and the head not. The image is excellent, but I am quite sure your point of focus is well in front of his head, and it should have been on his head.
