There is not much details for this image. Infact its pure lighting effect. here is how I did. I took an empty egg shell, cleaned it, took a candle. cut the top most part alone. placed it inside the egg. Then I placed a black background. and took this snap with no flash. [Focus:-Center; Metering Mode:-Spot]. I guess that's it
BTW my cam doesnt offer great flexibility... so go to rely mostly on tricks 
Anyway try experimenting...
