Cheshire sunset

Cheshire sunsetI think this photo had great potential, as you've composed a nice scene, with a beautiful sky, foreground interest and depth, but the scene is lost, as the foreground is way to dark, and the sky a bit light. Unfortunately a camera sensor has a limited dynamic range, so to be able to capture this scene fully (i.e. with a darker sky and a lighter foreground) I would have recommended you to use a ND Grad filter or capturing this scene at many different exposures, and then blending together a 'perfectly'' exposed image manually or with specialised software. I tried making a modification to show you what I mean. This was otherwise a great effort, and has potential for a good photo. Hope this was some help, keep on taking photos!
