Difficult light, but shot raw and this is processed through Raw Therapee. Not really sure what I was doing but think I rescued the photo!

You have a great deal on animal photography experoence, so you likely know this is not your best. Its over-saturated, over-sharpened, and has an odd colour cast.

I have reduced colour sat (-32), toned down sharpness, corrected colour, and blurred the background in a mod.

You file size id quite small, - you can try a larger file size for better detail.

Hope this is helpful

Regards

Willie

Cheers. I'm probably getting a bit too keen on boosting saturation and going a bit OTT with it. Thanks for headsup on colour cast and over sharpening. The sharpening I find so difficult to get right. I just do it in one stage when reduced in size rather than the 3 stage process sometimes recommended. Colourcast - I haven't calibrated my computer screen but perhaps will invest in a calibration card.
