Not too much perch for me.I think this works superbly, giving it extra context and the sense of height. For me, although I don't take bird pics, I prefer those that aren't just about the bird but add in their surroundings and habitat.

So for a non-birder like me, this works! Beautiful detail and clarity too.

Lonesome Poppy.....

I absolutely love this. A completely different take on the humble field poppy - my favourite flowers too apart from red geraniums.

This is so creative and haunting - reminds me of an impressionist film I once saw where the landscapes were slightly half-seen like this with subtle shapes and images. Beautifully done.
