Cup, saucer and spoon. A bit of experimentation again. I've upped the brightness a bit and tweaked the contrast slightly.
1/250 (I think ..)
Nice bit of experimenting. Good sf, good exposure, and cool comp.

Simply stated, Suzi. Ron.
Now this is a classy image, Suze! Really like it!
I think I would have been inclined to remove the highlight just next to the left-hand edge of the image, on the front of the cup, but otherwise I think this is spot on. Well done!
I think you are on to something here. I've had white on white sitting on my "to do" list for ages. Thanks for the inspiration to get moving.
I love these kinds of uncluttered shots
Love the simplicity of this one Suzie
I'm surprised this hasn't been much more popular Suzi, it's a great image, as Conrad says 'classy'.
Thanks Ian I do love my 50mm f/1.8!!
That is a great image , keep thinking about that lens myself I must get one .
Thanks Ian and Ian
Ian I can't recommend this lens highly enough. The f/1.4 is no doubt much better for quality but the f/1.8 does everything I expect it to do and I'm thrilled with it.
Featured E2 photo, well done Sooz.
your usual style Suzi - elegant and creative!
(next one in the series should explore why the spoon always goes up the nose if you forget to take it out? )
Thanks Oliver, Anthony and Brian
Brian - that was in the series but I couldn't get permission to photograph in A&E .. hehe
Brilliant idea, very creative.
High key treatment great and DOF stunning.
Just seen this, but have to agree with Conrad re the highlight.
Thanks Harry and Cheryl
Wasn't really sure about the highlight so the fact that it's being mentioned makes me think twice. Thanks for the feedback
Brilliant high key composition with just a bit of spice in that hard edged end of spoon.
Glad you liked the UFO; I'll reserve a window seat for you
Many thanks Rende and Tuhin
Rende - great! I'll bring my astroslippers .. 8-D
Simple, clean and very well composed. Wonderful work.
Thank you Ayelet
Lovely and simple, pure and lovely observation. Nice to see a great photo being made out of almost nothing
Good result, Suzi.
I tried something similar to this, a while ago, but with a dinner plate and chrome fork. Inspired by a picture by Kertesz that I saw in a book.
I wavered as to whether to upload it or not, but decided in the end that whatever the picture had to say Kertesz had already said it.
Still, it was an interesting exercise in lighting.
Thank you Jas Just seen your fork photo - simple subjects do make pleasing images don't they.
white on white love the way the cup fades
Thanks B&S and William. Must admit it's one ofmy personal favourites.
