| We wish you a speedy recovery Sue Oh my god.....what can I say, I'm truly overwhelmed by all the good wishes and heartfelt sentiments, what a wonderful bunch of people you all are....even from people who don't even know me. As you may have realised, I've managed to pick the locks....piece of cake...and thought I'd just say thanks in person for all your lovely comments.
Ade has been an angel, but I am a bit worried he's going to overdo it, so I'll have to keep an eye on him, he won't be much good if he's completely knackered will he? So don't worry folks, I'll make sure he takes time out for himself..... apparently that's a lesson I've got to learn, should be fun Yes, it was a really BIG shock, not overweight, do exercise, eat healthily (at least 8 or 9 fruit/veg a day) BUT I was a smoker, until last Wednesday that is....NEVER AGAIN....I choose life from now on, not fags! I count myself extremely lucky, as Ade said, the GP, ambulance crew, A & E staff, doctors, nurses, porters have all been amazing. My family have rallied round and kept my spirits up and my sister & brother in law came straight up from Portsmouth, to offer support and help to Ade and stay for my 1st weekend home, my sis has been amazing, my girls have kept me laughing and Ade has been my rock, I'm very lucky to have such an amazing family and the best fella in the world ever. My heart has been fixed, my bad habit has been stubbed out forever and the half dozen pills and the spray should keep me ticking over nicely. I'll be back to my old self (but even better) before you know it. I will be doing the Rehab course, as I need to learn to relax. Thanks again everyone, but most of all thanks Ade....you really are the best Love to all Sue xx |

| Liberty's Raptor And Reptile Photographic Day Hi Miles....I'd very much like to do a trip there, so if your planning any future visits, we'd be interested. This w/e was out for us, as I'm poorly and Ade's gone to FOI at the NEC today...Just don't make it the w/e of the 11/12th Feb or 22nd/23rd April

| BWC Saturday 4th March Hi Cheryl.....Might be up for this one, I'll have to ask his lordship when he gets back from the NEC....Sadly I couldn't make it, the dreaded Bronchitis and a throat infection have got the better of me......so not been out all week, except for work, so feeling pretty cheesed off now, especially as last Sunday the weather put paid to our trip to Marwell, although we did have a nice weekend at my sisters' down at Waterlooville. So wish me luck, and hope the antibiotics do their stuff and we might just get there

| Elan Valley - 30th October Gigrin Farm feeding time will be at 2p.m, as the clocks will have gone back that morning (I read it on a notice last time we were there in August) Apparently the birds don't have watches, so they don't know the clocks have gone back......For those who haven't been it's a spectical well worth seeing, but don't rush off too soon, you'll get better shots if you hang around after the rest of the public have gone.....If we don't make it there, have a great time everyone
Regards Sue |

Cheers all Sue |

| Sigma - 55-200 DI lens I bought my Sigma 28-135mm macro lens from Warehouse Express about 6 weeks ago, but only started to use it a couple of days ago.....Yesterday whilst out catching Butterflies the manual focus packed up. I rang W/E at 2.00pm, they asked how long I'd been using it, and after a few minutes wait, they came back and said,"We'll send a replacement tomorrow and collect the other one".....The new lens arrived at 10.00am today, as promised and I can only congratulate W/E on their superb customer service. I am not saying they are perfect, I had problems getting my 300D in the first place, but in their defence it was because Canon were messing them about....In the end they broke up a kit for me, just so I could have my camera and I got a refund as the price had by then gone down....I was also sent the 100 cashback voucher.
Yes, everyone is right, as the retailer W/E are responsible for replacing goods, that were unusable in the first place. I would suggest you speak to W/E again, ask for someone senior, or a very helpful lady called Ann, who bent over backwards to sort out my 300D delivery. They should replace the lens and sort the problem out with Sigma themselves.....Good luck Regards Sue |

| PHOBIAS! I used to uncontrollably terrified of spiders....but also have never felt that I have the divine right to kill other creatures.....So unless they could be humanely removed I would stay out of any room they had occupied for days.....Once slept on the sofa for a week, cos 3 huge buggers disappeared under my bed and couldn't be found. I couldn't even see a picture of them, without running screaming from the room....How girlie is that!!!......The cure was simple....Ade made me face my fear at the Tropicaria in Minehead.....where a red kneed Tarantula was placed in my quivering hands, their bodies are so delicate, like eggshell, that if I had dropped it, it would have died and my concience would not have allowed that to happen.....I guess I kind of bonded with this delicate creature and began to see it's beauty.....Phobia gone.
Still scared shitless by heights tho'....or is it falling....or is it hitting the bottom.....LOL |

Not done for clicks, just for kicks....Cheers Cheetah lovers everywhere...Sue P.S Ian, hope you didn't hurt yourself too much when you fell over Kate's foot, or was it your male ego....I'll see you sometime, and as Ade will tell you, I never forget! |

| Canon EOS 20D Price Now come on guys, if a 20D arrived here, do you think I would actually get my hands on it.....I think not!!! Never mind at least I'd get Ade's 10D and could take some piccies. Got to agree in the past W/E have been very good, I'm just really annoyed with them at the mo, they keep telling me end of this week....then end of the next week etc etc....If they can't deliver I'll go elsewhere...just wish they'd tell me the bloody truth that's all....Will phone 'em tomorrow and see what they got to say....watch this space....Oh by the way they are now showing the 300D as sold out, took 'em long enough....GRRR

| Wales EPZ meet - Sunday 06th Feb - Everyone Welcome!!!! Sooooo Sorry guys, we're not gonna make it :-(. Poor ole Ade's back is giving him holy hell this morning (It's always worse when it's cold and damp)....Hope you all have a great day and the weather holds out for you.....Catch up with you all another time I guess.....Thanks Mari for the offer of the loan camera.....Oh and before you say it, it's nothing to do with that so called Rugby match yesterday.....Got to say England were bloody awful...But then it wasn't the same team as the World cup winners...Now that would have been a totally different result.....Congrats Wales, enjoy.....Cheers all Sue

| Are my shots on Ephotozine not up to scratch? Well I'm in the E2 club and I'm not getting any more clicks than usual....Not that I've posted anything outstanding lately...I wish.
Don't give yourself a hard time Sarah, your work is very good, my problem is I have to fight for use of the computer and I don't get much time to upload or comment, but I will have a look at your stuff and comment where I think I can be of help.....although I'm more in to macro and animals myself....What I've seen so far is excellent, so carry on doing what you're doing and enjoy....If you can join some of the meets, it's a great way to meet other members, and encourage them to look at your work.....On the other hand it's also a great way to have a good laugh, cos in my experience all EPZers all completely barmy....Keep up the good work Sarah and enjoy....Sue |

| Wales EPZ meet - Sunday 06th Feb - Everyone Welcome!!!! Thanks for the offer Mari, it's very kind of you and Thanks to you too Markulous, but I think I'd be safer with Mari's G2, as I have been using an S1, they're not too different, although I know the G2 is a much better camera, so I expect to get good results Mari...lol....I'd be happy to get me horizons straight!!!
More than anything I'm coming to see them mad welsh people I met once....I'm still in therapy you know.....But I'm told I have to face my demons to exorcise them....So I'll be there!!! If that don't work I'll have to try human sacrifice.....Any volunteers??? Till Sunday guys...Be afraid...Be very afraid |
