Thought it was about time I put up another piccie. Took this one on 28th June, whilst out with me dogs. Just coming home, down the cycle path, when it landed down low on the leaves beside me (even had the wrong lens on, as I was after birds!!). Trouble was the only way to get a decent shot, was to lay flat on me belly, stretched out across the bottom end of the cycle path....a seriously dangerous game, when you consider the path is quite bendy and cyclists come down the hill at a fair old speed.....Luckily, no cyclists or photographers were injured during the taking of this shot.....But I felt it was worth the risk, as I've never managed to get this close to one before....Shot is as it came from the camera, full frame, with a small sharpen after resizing........All comments/criticisms much appreciated.....Will catch up with you all soon.....Warmest regards....Sue

I've been remiss and not visited for a while Sue - you have lots of lovely things that I like taking pics of too.
This one is good but I have a suggestion which may help make it even better.
Even though you have used f13 you have still lost a little focus, particularly on the ends of the antenna. If you had dropped your camera down a little and tilted it upwards you would have got the plane of the sensor level with the plane of the butterfly's body. This should then have brought everything in to focus.
You've framed it very well and the lighting and colour are excellent - so its only tweaking the technique a little ![]()
