Excellent captures Willie. I don't usually like photos of captive animals, but V1 won me. The sad expression of the animal behind the bars makes the photo. Also a nice portrait in V5.
All the best,
George

An interesting and well captured set each with their own merits Willie. However I do feel that image number one is rather hard hitting and extremely emotive.

Yes...v1 rather sums it all up. Zoos..a necessary evil?

One large elephant...it's really wonderful to get up close to these wonderful animals Smile Smile Smile

A stunning set of images, Willie - an excellent lesson in how to photograph and portray animals.
I do wonder how happy the animals really are in zoos!

Wonderful set, V1 is superb!.. Meaningful and well observed... Love the gaze in the eyes..a distance dream.. An animal in the cage, behind the bars.... just as human in an invisible ones sometimes...
