I found this while digging in old folders this morning.
This is my wife and I, in 1972. I took the photo using an Asahi Pentax 35mm on a tripod, self timer; developed, printed and scanned myself.
Brings back memories.
beautiful picture love pictures like this it nice to look back at old pictures like it
I always suspected you were probably a bit of a hippy, and this proves that you had just moved on from that phase in your lives................... This really is a DIY job. This should be one of your pride and joys............... The happy couple!!!!!
I still look through my old pics, back to the 60's. Loads of memories. Love yours.
Everyone go, Aaaaahhhhhhh.
My first proper camera too, the Pentax. Love them.
Sets off lots of memories - my second SLR was a Spotmatic II, bought in 1972, to replace an Exa 500. So much smoother, so much less flare...
I don't think I was as good-looking - and I had to wait another five years before I met my wife!
A delightful image...
In 1972 I was a mere 10 years old and my camera was a Kodak Instamatic 104, and I've still got it. Getting film can sometimes be a problem though.
Love the cable knit sweaters
Pratica LTL3, px in for a Canon AE1, fond memories
I dont remember the model, but I remember that there was no prism, so I looked down into a ground glass viewer, and it was 35mm. Practikas were very popular around that time. My camera was old in 1972.
very delightful image.
...How interesting... Forever young!
In 1972 my present Wife was only 12 ! but then She's 11 yrs younger than me, so it's just as well we didn't get together til 1993
Brought back fond memories.
I had my son in 1972. Wow!
You both look so young. Your wife is sooooooooo young looking. Very pretty.
Yes you looked Hippy on the pic. Pretty good looking guy
Now you look like a very stern looking journalist from your profile of the now.
No more smiles. Ha-ha.
