A winter view looking west along Loch Ard in the Trossachs, and towards Ben Lomond just discernible in the distance. Despite the low sun, the car was registering 0 degrees and the wind made it feel like - 10.0........hands got so cold I could hardly feel the controls on the wee NEX.
My thanks to all who took the time to comment on The Reading Room.

fine light and colours Ronnie good use of the fence drawing us into the capture very ard when your mitts are frozen but well worth it

I admire your knowledge of the mountains and lochs.
I think Loch Ard is where a little boathouse is often photographed
which I haven't seen for myself. Lots of colour in those trees
and the rock makes good f/g interest.

An accomplished composition, Ronnie, several lines all leading to the end of the loch giving a lovely depth to the perspective. Saturated colours and a glass water surface complete an excellent picture.

love the leading lines in this photo and the background. Excellent shot. Its 4 degrees this morning here in Indiana so i know what you mean when your hands can barely feel the NEX7

I am only disappointed by the exclusion of your good self in self-portrait mode standing up to your crown jewels in the water you claim is so cold.....I know, you forgot the tripod, so I forgive you, my friend.
