A winter view looking west along Loch Ard in the Trossachs, and towards Ben Lomond just discernible in the distance. Despite the low sun, the car was registering 0 degrees and the wind made it feel like - 10.0........hands got so cold I could hardly feel the controls on the wee NEX.
My thanks to all who took the time to comment on The Reading Room.
Ronnie.

That beautiful light is deceptive.
I admire your knowledge of the mountains and lochs.
I think Loch Ard is where a little boathouse is often photographed
which I haven't seen for myself. Lots of colour in those trees
and the rock makes good f/g interest.

what wonderful colours you have captured,,,
really doesnt look that cold!!!!!
An accomplished composition, Ronnie, several lines all leading to the end of the loch giving a lovely depth to the perspective. Saturated colours and a glass water surface complete an excellent picture.
Dave
well composed, each side of the image has its own beauty.
Quote: A real stunner Ronnie and I love the way the fence draws you into the frame for me it adds that extra dimension.
Rob

Very beautiful, nice and colourful too
Like the low viewpoint, and gives the impression you're in the water, Ronnie! ![]()

What he said, Ronnie.
I am only disappointed by the exclusion of your good self in self-portrait mode standing up to your crown jewels in the water you claim is so cold![]()
.....I know, you forgot the tripod, so I forgive you, my friend.
A seriously good image.
Malc

A beautifully composed attractive scene, Ronnie, and you'd never know it was that cold from looking at this image.
Beautiful image with you little NEX Ronnie, love the cloud reflections in the water.

The distant Ben Lomond is the icing on the cake. Absolutely beautiful!
Johanna
A beautiful and serene scene Ronnie, such wonderful light and colours. I'd never have guessed it was so cold when it was taken though!
