I have a very good friend who is a professional photographer,
I asked him what makes a good picture?
His reply one that sells.
Although I do not consider the picture of Santara, particularly good, It is being widely used by Sony to promote their A77 camera.
The picture was taken with the first A77 pre-production camera I was trialling,
at this point The camera manual had not been produced, and the firmware was very basic.
It has since been updated at least twice.

Quote: Thought Sony made televisions?![]()
I thought Canon made printers?
No Sony lead the world with cameras.
This was taken with a translucent mirror camera 12 FPS. 23 mega pixels.
Would not swap it for a 1D mk4.
and it is a third of the price.
Mind you Canon & Nikon are working hard to catch Sony up.
