Got the meal, now to quickly prepare...

Lots of movement here and droplets plus...fish scales
Shows what the 5Diii can get if you try hard enough

A fabulous image Lilian. Well captured .Hope you are feeling a bit better .Thanks for your p.m. Will look out for your Scottish photos coming up !

I don't stay too far away from Moiral so if you make it to the East Coast it would be great to meet up !(She has just suggested we do a boat trip and puffin shoot so I'm up for that !)Wink

This is the best shot I have ever seen of a kingfisher battering it's fish.

My Quote:He returns to the perch with caught fish, and batters them to make their fins lay flat enabling a smooth passage down his throat.
During this operation he has his eyes shut, and his feet astride for balance.
On occasion the fish is knocked on the perch dozens of times.

Great capture, stunning example of real life in motion.

Since Sydney2 has so kindly provided you with a quote, I thought I would take this opportunity to provided you with a small ditty.

Two Kingfishers were sat on a perch, and the other one said "hey can you smell fish"...

Regards Nathan

I prefer my fish battered at the local fish 'n' chip shop! Smile A stunning shot, Lillian, and as Frank says, those water droplets captured in mid-air really add to the shot Wink

Good ''action'' shot Lillian.
And as for battering my fish,
I let my local chippie do that for me !!
