Thanks for all previous c and cs I'm very grateful. Some shots taken a couple of weeks ago when we had some spring like weather, not like today, more snow.

v1 has the greatest depth and a strong lead in. v2 needs the left side of the bridge anchored and v4 has the tower obscured by the branch. A lovely image though, Sylvia, and i didn't realise Newark had a castle!!

With the dependent overhanging branches and the verticality of the Castle amd it's reflection complex, the portrait format works the better for me, and like Dave it's V 1 that ticks all tye boxes for me, Sylvia.

V1 the best, followed by V3 I think. The foliage creates a sort of veil, that's partly drawn back.
