Thanks for previous cand cs I'm very grateful. Some shots of a large red poppy in the garden, the petals have now dropped, I think the centre always looks like a marzipan cake. Have a good weekend

Stunning colour and detail in all of these shots.......V1, V2 and V4 I particularly like, the black background makes the poppies jump out at you.

My favourite flower, but one I find difficult to capture detail in without sacrificing the colour saturation. A wonderful set here though, Sylvia Smile

Excellent shots of this red poppy and I know from bitter experience it's not easy to get the red colour of these subjects accurately captured: noir only have you done so, but you have captured the a papery texture of the petals so well.
And that macro inspection in V 4 is something else......superb detail.

A very attractive set of images, V2 being my favourite even though it doesn't show the crown, but I like the composition and black background, which always looks good with red flowers.
