Sorry I haven't been around much lately. These are some shots taken in Sherwood Forest of trees in January sun. V1 the Major Oak, very old, propped up and protected by fencing, I like the shapes of these old trees without their leaves. Have a good weekend.

I love this image, reminds me of my childhood, before they put a fence around 'The Major Oak' this was my play ground and place of fantasy. I never was Maid Marion, but I was a great Robin Hood, well, I looked better in the tights than my Brothers. Grin

That aside, these are well taken images.

This winter image of the old oak shows off it's structure so much better than a summer shot in full foliage might do: definitely my favourite from this winter set, Sylvia.
