aka Oswego Tea, Monarda, Bergamot,
Monarda didyma


This, the budding form, caught my attention as it is already showing the unusual structure and colors of this flower. It will soon be bright red and favored by humming birds and all sorts of insects including bees.

Image made in situ, ISO 500 f/11 1/160---the background is a stone wall, much diffused. This is in Pano form--best viewed LARGE!
