Interesting indeed.
I think I prefer the effect of Solarization in lower part of image better.

Welcome to the solarisation club Cliff. I've done a few of these (see my potfolio) and they will get mixed reviews from members, however I like the overall glow these shots create. If your interested in solarisation from the past look at the work of Man Ray.

I sometimes find the skys can be very "negative" and I've used layers to invert them for a more pleasing effect. The effect was originally used for portraits and it works really welll on side images, but I also like the effect I achieved with the Alhambra Theatre.

Keep experimenting it can be a lot of fun. GrinGrinGrin
