This was taken at 2nd Beach just outside of Port St. Johns (Umzimvubu) in the Transkei (Wild Coast), recently incorporated into the Eastern Province of South Africa. I have always wanted to convert this image into mono. Hope that you like it.

Thank you for the C's. I usually like a more punchy B&W, but this scene somehow works in more subtle tones.
This is a superb image that conveys that bond between mother and child.

Thanks. Another one of my personal favourites that did not do too well on this site. However, just woken up along the Wild Coast in an African type bungalow with a thatch roof, and it was sunny and hot, with the waves just across from the entrance to this camp. Guess that helps to push a photo up the personal favourites...
