I find all rainbows breathtaking, David, but this picture is amazing, almost surreal, the way the rainbow crosses the peak of that mountain and seems to come down on the little island, the overall colours and little boats....a real stunner.
Thanks everybody for the great feedback. I know it looks a bit too good to be true but it really did look like that!! Talk about being in the right place at the right time with a little camera that's up to the job! It developed into a double rainbow too - so another pic showing that should be hitting the gallery soon
