This was an early morning shot taken on Rannoch Moor when the water on the lochan was calm and the mountains were reflected perfectly.

How can you squeese all this detail into 500 pixels? Another calm day? Seems to be many of those there. Or do you just wait and wait?
Patrick
Perfect calmness on the water, this will not happen too often I wouldn`t think, A lot of folks at the hostel here do the WHW and I often show them images from you of Rannoch moor and off they go all excited, but always find wet/windy weather so they tell me !!!!!!!!

Mirror springs to mind! Excellent colours and sharpness throughout.

It's all been said, Louise. Another fabulous shot. The little rock in the fg completes the composition.
Andy
This is one of best, clearest reflections I've ever seen louise. Just stunning

Geoff, I initially cropped this as a panoramic but on comparison of the two images, my preference was to submit the one with the stones. ![]()
Thought this might be yours Louise
I'm glad as it gives me the chance to say thankyou for your recent comments on my work....much appreciated ![]()
This is a stunning reflection....the colours are just beautifull. What a feeling of calm.
I never did make it onto the mainland this winter to get any pictures , your lucky not to be trapped by 8 miles of water from the rest of scotland!

Breathtaking, Louise. I like also the way that you placed the rock.
Pauline
Hi Louise, thank you so much for the kind comment considering it is so far removed from your own style really appriciated. Your portfolio is spectacular and would put Colin Prior to shame.
Luv Victor
Sorry I have not visited your portfolio recently Louise, I have had a lot happen to me recently.
This is a stunning shot with a wonderful sense of calm about it. Great reflections, and good use of the rock in the f/g to break up the symmetry. Excellent work!

Fran
