Doug has fond memories of this little house on Avielochan near Aviemore where he spent a lot of time as a youngster. The sun shone long enough for us to capture the reflections on the still waters of the loch.

great colours and reflection - i think if you cropped the bottom a bit (take the grass out on the left) it might look even better. beautiful shot though

Very picturesque, stunning reflections.

Beautiful capture with wonderful reflections and colours

I want to be there right now! And I guess that is what makes for a good photo, doesn't it? Great timing to capture the still water and reflection. I was wondering when you'd pop up again!
Patrick

Thanks a lot everyone, took quite a few shots at this location Cornelia, some without the grassy bank, thanks for your suggestion.

I love this cottage too. I drive past it regularly and it always puts a smile on my face. I have often wanted to stop and take a few shots but I always seem to be in a hurry. Maybe I should just stop one day soon. Douglas is a very lucky man to have stayed here, its soo picturesque. Nice to see your posting again. All the best,
Tg.

Yes, welcome back Louise. Looking back at your work I get the impression you have a strong preference for blue. Nothing wrong with. You know how to handle it. Unfortunately, we seldom have a bright blue sky.

Hello Louise.
coincidentically, I see my brother just commented here.
We had a nice blue sky today, so I took many shots. But having blue skies and get it on picture is not the same. lol
But I opend your picture again, asking you when we will see new ones. Doug is uploading, with a speed, as never before. lol
So, where you are?

Hi Louise,
I was so glad to hear from Doug that you were able to successfully view my Stereo Pairs. Also it was nice to find your PF as a result. You both have such a great formula for wonderful landscapes.

Nice to see such a lovely spot has good memories for Doug. Recorded extremely well.

Another beautiful capture Louise. Wonderful reflections and the touch of red amongst the green really gives the shot extra impact.

Brian.

Love all the reflections and the lovely sky, the little red house is a bonus.Good clear natural colour.
