This is a shot of Black Mount taken on Boxing Day. Beacause there were not many people on the Moor on Xmas day the snow was still undisturbed. The water was smooth and the reflections were good.

Wasn't 100% convinced until I saw the large version, but this is excellent, makes me feel cold just looking at it! The water really adds impact.

Its interesting Louise, to look through your thumbnails and see the changing seasons at a glance. Snow scenes though really do capture the imagination and this one is really just perfect. The eye just soaks up this magnificent scene
