Hi Aashika, welcome to EPZ, hope you stick around for w while, it's a great place. What about this picture? Well, I don't want to sound too harsh, but as it stands it's just a photograph of a nice flower, and that doesn't necessarily make it a nice photograph of a flower. What I mean by that is there are several factors you need to take into account to make the shot a good photo in its own right. The main one, as in most flower photography, is homing in close on the subject. About two thirds of this shot is taken up by background greenery which doesn't add at all to the image, you would have been bette filling most of the frame with the flower and its leaves, or evn cropping in very closely on just the flower head itself. Take some time and look around the gallery on here, choose some of the flower shots you like best yourself, and try and analyse what makes them stand out as being "beautiful picture of a flower" instead of "picture of a beautiful flower".
I hope that makes some sense to you, if you're willing to learn you'll learn a lot on this s site, so keep the uploads coming, and above all enjoy yourself ![]()
